Self-Quarantine? Isolation? Social Distancing? What are these new phrases and lingo? and what do they mean? Simply put in laymens terms, Americans are in panic mode.

Here in the US, the following will be closed until further notice:

Shopping Malls, Movie theatres, Concerts, and Sporting events. Social Gatherings have been limited to 10 people. People have been avoiding outings at white tablecloth restaurants and dive bars, go for delivery and drive-thru instead.

Make sure you sure you have plenty of:

Cereal, crackers, pasta, canned soup, rice, popcorn, beans and legumes (dried or canned), grains (farro, couscous, rice, etc.), canned fruits or veggies, jarred tomato sauce, nut butters, trail mix, oatmeal, shelf-stable milks, jelly, plenty of water, or sports drinks.

Visit your local church and food pantry for extra supplies.

Stock up on Incense. Positive energy and karma can go a long way. Releasing good vibes. Stock up on Candles. This sets a relaxing mood and again, releasing good vibes. They also come in Handy during a blackout.

Grab your yoga mat and exercise at home. This comes in handy when they gym is closed. Do workouts like plenty of stretching, lunges, pushups, sit ups, squats. This will keep you active and busy for a few hours.

Wipe down all surfaces, and electronics on a regular basis. doorknobs, tables, desks, and handrails. Increase ventilation by opening windows or adjusting air conditioning.

Limit food sharing. stock up ahead of time in preparation for a quarantine. Any dry (Non Perishable).

No hugs or shaking hands. Keep 6 feet safe distance away from people. Avoid gatherings of more than 10 people.

As for Amazon.com sellers and shoppers, there’s been a lot of “price gouging” going on. Noah Colvin, posted and upped the price of 300 bottles of hand sanitizer, selling them all for between $8 and 70$ each. to him it was “crazy money” to many others it was profiteering from a pandemic. The next day Amazon took off his listings and thousands other types of listings for sanitizer, wipes, and face masks. EBay soon followed with even stricter measures, prohibiting any U.S. sales of masks or sanitizer. More “Price Gouging” going on in Facebook too. They have banned medical face mask listings, and meanwhile they’re still littering the platform. As for Amazon, Currently, You can not order anything on Amazon it’s all sold out. And so Amazon is hiring 100 thousand new workers to keep up with demand during the corona virus outbreak.

Floridians who are used to getting prepared for hurricane weather have posted a list of things to get in case of a pandemic:

And  always remember that anyone can carry the virus without showing any symptoms.

(The search for Patient Zero)

The first COVID-19 case originated on November 17, according to Chinese officials searching for ‘patient zero’ A 55-year-old individual from Hubei province in China may have been the first person to have contracted COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus spreading across the globe. That case dates back to Nov. 17, 2019, according to the South Morning China Post. It is believed Coronavirus originated in a bat and somehow hopped to another animal, possibly the pangolin, which then passed it on to humans. COVID-19 is mainly spread person to person, The spread of the coronavirus came from the wet markets in Wuhan, China. The market where the current outbreak may have started, the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan. Wuhan authorities banned the trade of live animals at all wet markets there soon after, and China announced a temporary national ban on the buying, selling, and transportation of wild animals in markets, restaurants, and online marketplaces across the country as well.

This is devastating news. There is so much more than can be done to prevent these types of pandemics. Why are wet markets still a thing? I think its friggin gross to see what goes on there and this is where our food is coming from? Nothing to do with the virus originating. Well we can all do out part. Perhaps if more people went Vegan and had less contact with animals carcasses. We would be a more healthier community. Who’s to change your view or opinion on the matter? In the future I predict more vegan options and time for daily yoga at home. Don’t fall victim to this BS! Don’t go out to any restaurants period. People want their cake and eat it too? Only it’s not a friggin cake, it’s a pupu platter of insanity.
